Date-less Valentine

It's Feb 14 and I am at the coffee shop with my girl friend , chatting about how pathetic are we not to have a date on Valentine's day. Hahaha....this year's Valentine would be the first time after few years, I got no one to celebrate with. Takde laa teringin sangat nak celeberate this day, it just that it feels nice to join the rest of the crowd, hang out at a fancy restaurant, dress up nicely and having conversation with your partner over a candlelit dinner.

Tengok depan kitorang ada couple tengah berdating kot..dengan gaya mereka yang duduk rapat2, lepas tu cakap pun bisik2, huhuhu...i miss doing that. Si boyfriend actually quite cute, tapi the girlfriend cam selekeh je..with boy haircut, tak cantik pun. Orang kate selalu lelaki handsome akan dapat perempuan yang tak cantik . That's why I tak pernah dapat boyfriend yang handsome.. ;)

But seriously, if you get to pick a date on Valentine's, who would you guys pick?

What's the Story Sunday Morning

Waking up on Sunday morning knowing that you don’t have to go to work tomorrow (public holiday for Federal Territory), hahahaha.... it feels so much better. Tidur pun lebih lena semalam after spent half day entertaining good ol friend yang dah terpisah jauh. Technically takde laa jauh sangat since die cuma tinggal di Shah Alam, but since she been married and have her own family, kita orang dah tak update with each other’s life. Even she admitted that she has no more social life outside her family circle. So, yesterday we went to lunch and movie. We had lunch at Secret Recipe (can’t remember when was the last time I ate there) and I ordered Japanese Soba with plain water. Trying to be healthy laa konon. Anyway, we catched up few things...(mostly we talked about her marriage life as against our single lives). It was ok . Somehow I tak enjoy the "catching up" , I was rather distracted. Someone I know is leaving the country for a long time. And I was sad about this, why? I have no idea..

After lunch and a quick tour around 1 Utama, kitorang pun proceed to the cinema. Movie of the day - BRIDE WARS.

Since I lurve chic flick and Anne Hathaway, I think this movie is worth my 10 bucks. She looks S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G in the movie.

On the other hand , Kate Hudson looks rather.. hmm..hard to explain. Something doesn't quite add up there. But you're a fan of chic flick movies, you should not miss this one. Movie to watch with your girlfriends.

p/s : Boyfriends might not like it though :)

UniQuely Singapore

Ended 2008 with a trip to Singapore , accompanied by housemates of 1-01 Casa Utama. The trip was fun (hell ya!) sbb spent most of the time shopping and makan-makan. Shopping was a bit less fun because gaji tak masuk lagi beb! Cilanat laa diorang ni.Time aku nak gune duit ni laa die tibe2 nak masuk lambat laakk. Anyway, thank god I have my best friend (my HSBC credit card :D) , so leh laa grab few goods utk diri sendiri..

I grabbed :

1-Charles and Keith handbag (I lurve this one luv it..luv it..luv it!! )
2 - La Senza Bras
3- Fox t-shirt ( this one beli coz Fox takde kat Msia yet..and it's red!)
4- A few junks (here and there..tak ingat laa ape sgt ..tak penting pun)

The highlight of our trip of course laa the makan-makan session .

Paling best kat Mc Kenzie's , a Chinese-Muslim restaurant. Chicken rice sedap, deep-fried prawn pun sedap, baby squid (masak ape tah tak ingat ) pun sedap.
Maybe sebab kat another country, semua bende nampak sedap.
Coz I remember, kitorang makan Wall's ice-cream sandwich pun rasa cam Haagen Daaz's. Ahaks..

Nuff bout food, makes my stomach yang dah memang lapar ni rumbling even faster and louder.

New Year, New Beginning

It was over a year a go since my last post..I even forgot that I have a blog..Haha..time flies..and you're old!:p

Ok now let me start fresh..

Kick start the new year with new resolutions :

- To loose weight ( this I'm sure it's on top of every girl's list). Had this on my last year's list, but as you can see.....

- Save money as many as possible. Not spending too much (especially on clothes and shoes and bags)

- Travels as many and as far as possible. Maybe backpacking to Europe. Adventourous. But then camne nak save duit kalau nak travel banyak..I guess you can't have it both ways..so this year I choose travel!

- To finish reading Stephanie Lauren's. Bought it a year ago.

- Start (and finish) my first malay novel. Hence, the new notebook (hihi..I just got my new Sony Viao..pink color lagi uuollsss). Ni cam angan2 yg dah lame terpendam. Did you know tulis novel cintan kat Malaysia ni is a money-making? Regardless how crappy your book is ? I read a lot ( and purchased too) of Malay novels, and like 80% of it are totally rubbish. Cam amateurs yang tulis novel. I think diorang memang amateurs kot..kalau tak takkan tulis novel yang cam budak sekolah nyer essay. And the best part.. ade gak publisher yang nak ambik diorang ni. Still contemplating about the theme though, I was thinking romantic comedy, ade tak orang nak bace eh?

So guys, that's my new resolutions. What's yours?

SHIT and CRAP

This is to sum up my day today. Not only I have to work on public holiday ( Sultan's Selangor B-day) , I also had to do workloads for two ppl. Its exhausted, adrenaline rush situation when I had to update other ppl of each work that I have completed. They are just tooooo lazy to check in the database. Y'know, technology is not for everyone !

On top of that, I am soooooo damn sleepy, 2 cups of coffee wont do much, in fact it gaves me headache. And, I had too much food consumed today, my stomach bloated. Haha...tamak sangat..since today boleh claim RM20 meal, so I make full use of it .

Balik rumah ni nak kena terus pergi toilet. Nature calls.


Hmmm..what a shitty end to already a crappy day! ;)
